By accessing or using the Aussie Bound application ("Aussie Bound - Citizenship Test Prep 2026", "we", "us", or "our") via our web application or mobile apps (iOS & Android), you enter into a legally binding agreement to comply with these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue using our services immediately.
Aussie Bound is an independent educational prep platform developed to help candidates prepare for the Australian Citizenship Test. Aussie Bound is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing the Australian Department of Home Affairs or the Australian Government. Study materials are created based on publicly available resource materials ("Australian Citizenship: Our Common Bond"). Scoring or passing practice sessions on Aussie Bound does not guarantee passing the official government examination.
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access Aussie Bound solely for personal citizenship preparation. You agree not to copy, scrape, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying source code, database structures, or proprietary question compilations without explicit written authorization.
To synchronize practice scores, study streaks, and mistake reviews across multiple devices (Web, iOS, Android), you may register an account. • Device Premium Access: In compliance with mobile platform guidelines, physical devices holding an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription retain on-device Premium access across all local sessions (including guest mode and newly registered accounts) on that specific device. • Cloud Sync & Multi-Device Access: To access Premium features on other devices (e.g. Web browser, tablet, or another phone), your subscription must be linked to your authenticated Aussie Bound account.
Aussie Bound offers an optional auto-renewing Aussie Bound Premium subscription priced at AUD $9.99 per month (inclusive of 10% Australian Goods and Services Tax / GST). • Auto-Renewal: Your subscription automatically renews on a monthly recurring basis unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the conclusion of the active billing period. • Multi-Platform Billing: In-app mobile purchases are securely processed through your Apple ID (App Store) or Google Account (Google Play) via RevenueCat. Web purchases are securely processed through Stripe (Level 1 PCI-DSS compliant). • Immediate Account Binding: When logged in, mobile store purchases automatically bind to your cloud account immediately, enabling seamless multi-device access without manual sync steps. • Store Fingerprint Identification: Subscriptions are identified via unique store receipt fingerprints (store_subscription_id) to prevent unauthorized account collisions. • Dual Subscription Safeguards: To protect against unintentional duplicate billing, users should avoid maintaining concurrent active subscriptions across multiple billing channels (e.g. Stripe Web and Google Play). Our client safeguards warn users if multiple active billing providers are detected.
You may cancel your Aussie Bound Premium subscription at any time with 1 click in the Subscription settings tab on Web or directly within your Apple App Store / Google Play account settings. • Post-Cancellation Access: Upon cancellation, you retain 100% full Premium benefits and ad-free access until the end of your current prepaid billing cycle. No early cancellation penalties apply. • Restore Purchases & Account Transfer: Authenticated users can restore active store purchases on any compatible device. Tapping 'Restore Purchases' or 'Transfer Subscription to this Account' transfers cloud synchronization ownership to your current account and updates cloud attributions cleanly. • Refund Policy: Mobile in-app purchase refunds are processed directly by Apple App Store or Google Play in accordance with their respective store refund policies. Web transactions are subject to Australian Consumer Law.
Aussie Bound provides a comprehensive free study tier supported by third-party digital advertising (Google AdSense on Web and Google AdMob on Mobile). Free tier users agree not to employ ad blockers or interfere with ad delivery mechanisms. Upgrading to Aussie Bound Premium completely removes all advertisements, banner displays, and interstitial interruptions across Web and Mobile platforms.
All software code, graphic interfaces, test simulation algorithms, UI designs, and organized question banks in Aussie Bound are the intellectual property of Aussie Bound. Commonwealth copyright in study booklet references remains with the Commonwealth of Australia.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Aussie Bound and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services, or any discrepancies between practice materials and government test updates.
We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms of Use at any time. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
